Watkinsville Christmas Parade

Connecting Point Church in Bogart, where Jon is Worship Pastor,  entered a float last Saturday in the Watkinsville Christmas Parade.  The church family worked together to build a really cool giant sleigh (on the back of a flat bad trailer).  The Praise Band/Worship Team, all of the instruments, a bunch of kids and teens (including Daniel; unfortunately Zach was sick and was unable to be there) piled on the float.

Jon and I had a blast singing and ministering to those who came to the parade.  My cousin Elizabeth and I sang back-up for Jon along with our bass guitarist Stephen, electric guitarist Louis, drummer Scott, and keyboardist Jonathan.  We did three songs from Third Day's Christmas Offerings CD "Joy to the World," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and "Jesus Light of the World."  It was so much fun.

Sunday morning Pastor Tim shared with us that someone who saw our float called to ask him questions about the church.  The person shared that they loved the float, loved our church website and wanted to know more.  We were all very excited to hear that God used our efforts on Saturday.  Please keep praying for our church and Jon and I as we work on building relationships that will change people's lives for eternity.
